This Sunday (10/27), the Installation Theater receives the fourth edition of the project "Dance in Connectionin which the Encontro das Águas Company performs with guests. The event starts at 6 pm and has free admission, but the public can contribute voluntarily.
"'Dança em Conexão' is an event in which excerpts of contemporary dance performances are presented, not only produced by Encontro das Águas, but with the participation of invited companies. In this fourth edition, we will be with R2 Companhia de Dança and the independent artist Reysson Brandão", explains choreographer Juliana Borges.
With 12 dancers on stage and one hour long, Sunday's performance will feature pieces from "Fases do Amor" and "Ingênuo Amor", by Juliana, as well as "Mobilidade Inconstante", by Rosi Rosa (R2), and "Dois", by Reysson. "The goal of the project is to unite the companies so that they can help each other in the production process, especially in the technical issue," noted choreographer Juliana Borges.
"Dança em Conexão" had its first edition in December 2011. After that, it was also held in May 2012 and June 2013. The Installation Theater is located at Rua Frei José dos Inocentes, s/nº, Manaus downtown.
