Rehearsal of Bumbás in Manaus starts next Sunday (7)

Reino Unido da Liberdade will transition from the carnival period to the start of Garantido and Caprichoso rehearsals.

Next Sunday (07/04), at 18h, officially begins the Boi-Bumbá Season in Manauswith the rehearsals of Caprichoso e Garantidothat will happen again in the Convention Center - Sambódromowith support from the Government of Amazonas, through the State Secretariat of Culture (SEC).

The opening party will have free admission and will feature a special show of the samba school Reino Unido da Liberdade, four-time champion of the Amazon Carnival, which will make the passage of the carnival period for the season of bumbás, in an apotheosis moment with the presence of the school's drums, official interpreters, the Court of Carnival, Ballroom and Flag Master and official items of the two bumbás.

In the sequence, the event continues with shows of Caprichoso artists and, ending the night, there will be presentation of Garantido attractions. The order was determined by a draw.

"We had a beautiful Carnival and, now, we will make this great party to symbolize the beginning of another very representative event of the Amazonian culture," said the holder of SEC, Marcos Apolo Muniz.

For the president of the Marujada Movement, Beto Vital, the Government's support is fundamental for the event to gain more visibility. After all, for him, "Manaus makes a real 'warm up' for the public success in the Parintins Festival".

In his second term as president of the Movimento Amigos do Garantido (MAG), Elimar Cunha says that it is necessary to value the work of each member of the movement. "The work is voluntary, but the joy on the face of each member is contagious. They do it with a lot of happiness," he points out.

On the blue side, the programming will be with the participation of all the official lifters who integrate the Boi Caprichoso team, Marujada de Guerra, and other official items. The Bar do Boi will also have the participation of the organized fans Raça Azul and Força Azul e Branca (FAB), and the dance groups, Corpo de Dança Caprichoso (CDC) Manaus and Troup Caprichoso.

On the red side there will also be official items such as Batucada, Levantadores, and Porta-Estandarte.

Calendar

The following rehearsals will take place in alternate weeks for each bumbá, starting, according to the order defined by a draw, with the Curral do Garantidoon April 13th, organized by the Movimento Amigos do Garantido (MAG). The first Bar do Boi Caprichosopromoted by the Marujada Movement, will be on April 20th. In total, will be individual for each Bumbá and two (opening and closing) together.
