This Tuesday (23) and Thursday (25/07), at the Cultural Center of the Peoples of the Amazon (avenida Silves, 2.222, Industrial District - old Suframa Ball), the Holiday Camp continues with lots of games from 14h to 17h. On Tuesday (23/07), there will be a Hip Hop class for the kids, and on Thursday (25/07), there will be a performance of "Enchanted Classics", by Cia.
On Wednesday (7/24), at 9am, the writer Custódio Rodrigues will do a dramatized reading of the work "A floresta e os bichos contra o homem-fogo", at the Eduardo Ribeiro House Museum (Rua José Clemente, 322, Centro).
Also on Wednesday, at 3pm, at the Palácio da Justiça Cultural Center (avenue Eduardo Ribeiro, 901, Center) there will be a screening of the film "The Three Stooges". On Friday (26/07), at 15h, Maik Cavalcante will present a regional dance performance entitled "Pajelança".
On Thursday (07/25), at 7pm, at the State Center for the Elderly (Wilkens de Matos Street, Aparecida) there will be an open rehearsal of the show "Soul Jazz", by the students of the Claudio Santoro High School of Arts and Crafts - Sambódromo Unit, which combines jazz, fox, and tap dance, with songs by famous artists and movie themes.
Also at the Senior Center, on Friday (July 26) there will be a "Tarde Dançante - Especial Dia da Vovó" (Grandma's Day Dance Afternoon - Special), with activities from 2 pm to 7 pm.
Also on Friday, from 9am to 5pm, there will be a "Vinyl Record Fair", at the Museu da Imagem e do Som do Amazonas, located at the Provincial Palace (Heliodoro Balbi Square, s/nº, Center), with the sale and exchange of new and used LPs, several cultural activities, and a tribute to the singer Cileno, who will participate in an autograph session and present his main works.
On Saturday (27/07), there will be film screenings at the Magdalena Arce Daou Family Center (avenida Brasil, s/nº, Santo Antônio), from 2pm to 4pm; and at the Padre Pedro Vignola Family Center (rua Gandu, 119, Cidade Nova), from 4pm to 6pm.
Also on Saturday (07/27), the second edition of "Holidays in the Park" will take place, this time at Rio Negro Park (rua Beira Mar, 121, São Raimundo), from 16h to 20h. Among the activities there are dance classes, outdoor cinema, DJ and circus artists, the "Mania de Ler" project, with the mobile library; artistic workshops "Stencil & Graffiti" and "Drawing and Comics"; and the "Battle of Bboy and Bgirl Manaus 2019", from 5pm, with registration at the time of the event.
Closing
To mark the closure of "Tô de Férias na Cultura", on Sunday (28/07), the Cultural Center of the Amazon Peoples will be the scene of "Walking Circuit", held in partnership with the State Secretariat for Youth, Sports and leisure (Sejel), and that will promote a guided walk in the outdoor area of the CCPA, starting at 8h. From 9am on, the visitation through the Cultural Center's exhibitions and spaces will start, among them the Museum of North Man, the Caboclo's House, the Flour House and the Tapiri of the Rubber Tapper.
Besides the circuit there will be a wide program until 2pm, which includes a Zumba class, DJ presentation, circus artists, graffiti intervention, and the 33rd edition of the Book and Comic Book Exchange Fair, which for the first time will not be held at the Amazonas Public Library.
To participate in the Book and Comic Book Exchange Fair, the participant must bring books and comics that will be exchanged for coupons. Each coupon will entitle to exchange the book for another book, and the comic book for another comic book. The comic book coupons also entitle to the exchange of children's literature books. The books will be analyzed upon delivery for their state of conservation. Didactic, technical, and school books will not be accepted, only general literature, Brazilian literature, Amazon literature, literature for children and teenagers, comic books, books related to the Amazon, biographies, and arts.
