The School of Arts and Tourism of the Amazonas State University (ESAT/UEA) is open for free extension courses in music. Registration must be made by filling out the online form until the next day, November 4th. In all, 53 vacancies are being offered.
Children born in 2009 and teenagers from 15 years of age can participate, for the basic levels (see the announcement) and advanced levels (see announcement), respectively. The courses have classes in various instruments such as clarinet, bass, transverse flute, percussion, piano, conducting, trombone, euphonium, tuba, horn, trumpet, viola, violin and cello, in addition to conducting or singing lessons - in the case of advanced level.
UEA's music extension courses last 5 and 10 semesters for the basic and advanced levels, respectively, and aim to provide free theoretical and practical musical training for the population. However, the student must take responsibility for the acquisition of material to accompany the classes.
