The UniNorte is with registration open until this Monday (11) for the free workshop on applied computing. The action is part of the Responsible IT extension project, which completes one year of execution next month.
The workshop is aimed at young people from 15 years who live near the Igarapé de Manaus, in the Center, and micro entrepreneurs of the Espirito Santo Gallery.
The workshop has limited vacancies and registrations can be made until Monday (11), at noon, on the link. The classes start on Monday and will last until November 19th, from 3pm to 5pm, at UniNorte's unit 11, located at 211 Igarapé de Manaus Avenue, Centro.
The coordinator of the Responsible IT project, Larissa Bezerra, points out that during the workshop the participants will learn basic notions of IT, such as how to use the office word and excel packages.
Larissa explains that the workshop is taught by students from the Information Technology course, with teacher supervision. The project, she says, aims to enable students to put into practice what they have learned in the classroom and, at the same time, contribute to the development of the community. "More than training professionals, the role of the university is to form citizens who are aware of their role in the community in which they live," he reinforced.
