This Tuesday (21), at 2 pm, there is another edition of the project CineMaterna project at Cinépolis of Shopping Ponta Negra. The film chosen by the public is "Avengers: Ultimatum. The film is currently the second highest grossing film in the history of cinema, surpassing Titanic, and second only to Avatar, which has now grossed $2.78 billion.
The fourth film in the Avengers franchise, in Phase 3 of Marvel's Cinematic Universe, culminating a journey of 21 interconnected movies, Avengers: Ultimatum shows the end of the heroes' fight against Thanos, the mad titan. After using the infinity gauntlet, Thanos has wiped out half the living things in the universe, now, still grieving their loss, the Avengers must pull themselves together and create a plan to defeat the villain and undo all the chaos.
The CineMaterna sessions are organized for mothers, fathers, and caregivers with babies up to 18 months old. The films, mostly adult-themed, entertain mothers and fathers in an environment specially prepared to accommodate babies: lower volume, soft air conditioning, diaper changing stations inside the theater, a lightly lit environment, and special carpeting in the first row. The films are chosen by voting, at cinematerna.org.br. The poll is open one week in advance.
