Anime Jungle brings Massacration, Matanza, and Goku to ManausEverything is ready for the biggest pop culture and Japanese event in the North of Brazil, the Coca-Cola Anime Jungle (CCAJ). On the 10th, 11th and 12th, from 1:30 pm, the Sesi Worker's Clublocated in the East Zone of Manaus, hosts the third edition of CCAJ that will bring as attractions the bands Massacration, Matanza, the voice actor Wendel Bezerra, youtubers Danilo Modolo, the channel TokuDoc; Lucas Vinicius, Canal Inutilismo; Claudia Andriolo, better known as Haru, the Channel Haru; and the videomaker of cosplayers Wesley Animaff.
Among the highlights of the first day of CCAJ is a concert by the Rio de Janeiro band Matanza, formed in 1996. Their music is a mix of hardcore punk, country and heavy metal, and they are coming to Coca-Cola Anime Jungle to perform the closing show of their career. Another attraction on the 10th is Massacration, a Brazilian comical metal band created by members of the humor group Hermes e Renato. The humor show in which the band appeared ended up taking huge proportions and creating a legion of admirers, which led the band to play real concerts. The gates for the concerts will open at 9:30 pm.
On the 11th, the Coca-Cola Anime Jungle stage will host youtuber Danilo Modolo from the TokuDoc channel, who brings the nostalgia of tokusatsus, Japanese superhero series that were very successful in Brazil in the 80s and 90s, including Jaspion, Changeman, Kamen Raider, Ultraman, and Jiraya. The channel's differential is that, besides being one of the few on the subject, it also brings the latest news of the genre.
Also on the 11th, the public will be able to meet voice-over actor Wendel Bezerra, who has lent his talent to more than 150 characters, including the voices of Goku from Dragon Ball, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Buddy Valastro, from Cake Boss. Besides being a dubber, Wendel Bezerra is a dubbing director, actor, composer, and even an announcer.
On the 11th and 12th, the biggest videomaker of cosplay showcases in the country, Wesley Animaff, will be at the Coca-Cola Anime Jungle. This will be an opportunity for cosplayers from Manaus to play their favorite characters and be captured by the lenses of the professional who is inspired by international productions.
On the 12th, it will be the turn of Claudia Andriolo, from Haru's Channel, which has about 890 thousand subscribers. The youtuber from São Paulo talks about anime, games, series and everything about pop culture. Also on the last day of the event, the public will get to know Lucas Vinícius, better known as Lucas Inutilismo, who has a comedy channel with more than 3 million subscribers.
The public will also be able to check and participate in League of Legends (LOL) and Defense of the Ancients (DotA 2) duels, besides card game championships (Pokémon and Yu-gi-oh), Clash Royale, Virtual Reality Arena, cosplays, K-Pop presentations, anime exhibitions, Just Dance and DJ Stage.
Tickets for the event are already available at the Daray store (Amazonas Shopping, first floor), at the Workers Club box office or through the website shopingressos. Tickets cost R$10 (on the 10th), R$20 (11th), and R$20 (12th). When buying the ticket for Friday, the consumer will get one more for free. The ticket for the Matanza and Massacration concerts costs R$ 40. And the package for the three days of the event, including the shows, costs R$60.
