Cultural manifestations from all Brazilian regions were presented in five airports in the country to publicize national destinations.
O Ministry of Tourism promoted a campaign in five airports to encourage Brazilians to travel more throughout Brazil. To the sound of typical music and artists' presentations, Brazilian festivals were presented to travelers.
The Confins Airport (MG) was the stage for a cavalcade amidst the coming and going of travelers. At the Recife airport (PE), a German party was held. Another Boi Bumbá presentation took place at Congonhas Airport (SP).
The Southeast was represented by the Festa do Divino (MG); the Northeast by the June Festivals; the Center-West by the Horse Rides; the North by the Boi Bumbá; and the South by the Oktoberfest.
The presentations and people's reactions were recorded and will be published in the next few weeks on the Ministry of Tourism's social networks. Cultural manifestations from all Brazilian regions were included in the action.
"Our country has an extremely rich culture, and we need to take advantage of it to move the economy, generate employment and income through tourism", said the Minister of Tourism, Marx Beltrão.
According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), Brazil is one of the ten countries in the world with the richest culture. The data is part of the Tourism Competitiveness Study, which analyzes 136 countries under 14 different aspects.
International tourists
To attract international tourists to Brazil, the Ministry of Tourism, through Embratur, has also held June presentations in places of great movement in the main European cities. Madrid and Rome, for example, have joined the action.
