The Amazonas State Tourism Company (Amazonastur), through the director of tourism business and events, Cléa Viana, met on Wednesday (13/2), with the representative of the majority shareholder of the State of Amazonas Development Agency (Afeam), Marcos Vinicius Castro, to discuss alternatives and partnerships with an eye on strengthening the sector in the state.
Among the topics discussed, Cléa Viana presented the Amazonastur project which aims to implement the Entrepreneur's Manualwhich, in partnership with Afeam, will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs and micro-entrepreneurs linked to tourism, to promote and enhance business, through credit lines, among other actions.
Strategies were also discussed about the use of the General Tourism Fund (Fungetur) to improve the tourism infrastructure of the undertakings, facilitating the access of the local businessmen, as well as the creation of the Investor's Manual, which will promote Amazonas in the search for new investments in the area.
