AM Sesc Theater receives the dance show 'Look for Us

Show has free admission starting at 8pm.

This Tuesday, 7/8, from 20h, the Sesc Amazônia das Artes presents the dance performance "Watch over Us. The attraction starts at 8 pm, at the Amphitheater Ministro Bernardo Cabral, which is located in the unit Balneário, at Av. Constantinopla, 288, Alvorada. In the show, the group from Tocantins Lamira works with questions based on the wills and beliefs of human beings that transpire in their daily lives and we can perceive them.

The group's choreography reinforces the "believe in something", in the subtlety of hope, in the ways that lead people to be better. Various musical instruments offer specific sonorities. A huge filling of senses is present in the scenic objects, scenery and costumes. "Watch over Us" also goes on stage with the proposal of reflection. Questions usually guide the "movement". The answers? If there are any, they are unique. This is how the show becomes an invitation for a more tolerant look at the greatness of our diversity.

Admission is free and the age rating is 16.

Lamira Performing Arts

The group searches in the physicality the intersection point between dance, theater, circus and music for the construction of its aesthetics. Its productions are based on the interaction between choreographers, directors and researchers from the most diverse areas, promoting, strengthening and developing the performing arts as a cultural language. Since its inception, Lamira has built shows that serve as an aesthetic reference to the capital where it is located. Representing the scenic production of the State of Tocantins throughout Brazil, the company has toured more than 90 cities in 25 states and the Federal District, going through all regions of the country and reaching an audience of more than 46 thousand people.
