Application that facilitates rental and sale of clothes arrives in Manaus

Who has never opened their closet and thought they had nothing to wear? A platform for sharing clothes and accessories has proven that, not always, going shopping is the best option to vary the looks. A trend that is reshaping the fashion market, conscious consumption is the inspiration for the application LOCcreated in Salvador (BA) and that comes to the capital of the state as a more sustainable alternative for the 'stylish on duty'.

With more than 50 thousand users nationwide, the app offers a few possibilities: put pieces to rent or sell, or rent and sell pieces from other people. "If you are really eager to wear a specific trend, but don't want to invest too much, you can rent for a week and kill your desire. And those who have a closet full of clothes and accessories can share them for sale or rent on LOC and earn extra income. The app is free to register pieces," explains the CEO of the brand, Filipe Tambon.

In addition to everyday clothes, the shared closet is very useful for those special occasions when you almost always buy clothes to wear only once, such as parties, graduations, weddings, and trips to destinations with different climates.

Anyone can provide pieces for rent or sale, just download the platform in Android and iOS stores, and create a profile. The user must upload photos and a description of the items. You must also inform the original value of the piece and how much you want to rent it for. The price is set by the owner, but the app recommends that it is approximately 10% of the original value.

When it comes time to choose a piece, you can find options up to 50 kilometers away. "The app works by geolocation, so you can only rent or sell in the city where you are, although you can view photos from other locations. Currently, we have pieces registered in Manaus, São Paulo, São José dos Campos, Salvador, Feira de Santana, Campina Grande, São Luís, Santa Maria, Natal, Recife and Teresina," says Filipe.

The standard rental period is one week and delivery and return are the responsibility of the user who wants to rent, but it is possible to agree on the best way by contacting the piece's rental company through the chat available on the app.
