To the sound of Carnival marches and lots of serpentine and confetti, the Sesc Amazonas will hold on Friday (21/2), the 13th edition of the Children's Carnival Ball. The party starts at 18:30, the sports court of the Sesc Complex, on Constantinopla Avenue, 288, Alvorada, Midwest zone.
The program includes a costume contest, confetti and serpentine battle, Carnival marching bands, among other surprises prepared by the Sesc's sports and recreation team.
Registration for the costume contest will take place on the day of the event. Children up to 15 years old can compete in the three categories: originality, creativity, and luxury. The first three winners will receive personalized trophies from the Children's Ball.
The sale of tickets - called "happiness bracelets" - is available at the Sesc service centers in the Center (Rua Henrique Martins, 427) and at the Sesc Balneário unit in Alvorada. The passport costs R$ 5 for commercial workers/dependents, R$ 10 for the general public with a Sesc card, and R$ 15 for those who don't have one. Children up to 3 years old are free, but guardians need to present documents. On the day of the party the single price is R$ 15.
