Inaugurated on April 1, 1995, as part of the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the National Institute for Amazon Research - INPA. An old dream of opening the doors of the Institute to the public came true.
O Forest of Science Forest which is an area of approximately 13 (thirteen) hectares, located in the urban perimeter of the city of Manaus in the Central - East zone. Designed and structured to foster and promote the development of the scientific diffusion and environmental education and environmental education program, while preserving the biodiversity aspects existing in the area.
