Interested parties from the age of 15 can participate.
On July 28 and 29, a Ubá School and Art Producer holds the first edition of the Clown Workshop - Numadi coexistence: the comic body. The event takes place from 2pm to 6pm, at the Cultural Center Palácio Rio NegroCultural Center, located at Av. Sete de Setembro, 1546, Center. Registration costs R$ 20 (full) and R$ 10 (half price for students) and can be done through online form.
Those interested can participate from the age of 15. The workshop will have a total of 25 places in order of registration.
The work is an introduction to the poetic language of clown and emerged in 2018, from the studies and research of the artist Richard Harts. The workshop presents as inspiration the games used by the theatrical director Viola Spolin and the actor-mime Jacques Lecoq, and brings reflections on body awareness, through theatrical improvisation games that enable participants to experience the discovery of clown.
Different conceptualizations about the clown language, group improvisation games, triangulation (communication with scene partner and audience), search for singular characteristics and for the particular ridicule regarding the clown figure, dialogues about the importance of the mask (nose), among others, are some examples of the activities that will be performed during the workshop.
