Cine Video Tarumã presents the success of French comedies

In its last selection this year, the Cine Video Tarumã toasts the amusing comedies of French cinema. Due to the vacation period at the University, the sessions will return only in March 2018. The screenings are free, starting at 12:30 pm and take place in the Rio Negro auditorium, located in the hall of the IFCHS, formerly ICHL, at the Federal University of Amazonas.

On Monday, day 4, the film shown is What harm have I done to God?. The film tells the story of Claude (Christian Clavier) and Marie (Chantal Lauby), a conservative Catholic couple. When three of their daughters marry men of different nationalities and religions, the announcement of the fourth daughter's marriage to a Catholic groom becomes a reason for hope. The future son-in-law, however, may not meet the couple's expectations.

On Wednesday, the film being shown is Sweet Poison. Jean-Fraçois Richet's film tells the story of Antoine (François Cluzet) and Laurent (Vicent Cassel), two best friends who decide to take a trip together to Corsica. Laurent is newly divorced and Antoine is facing the wear and tear of marriage, so they take their respective teenage daughters on the vacation trip. However, what seemed like a chance to relax in a perfect place turns into a big mess when Antoine's daughter falls in love with her father's friend.

On Thursday the 7th, the movie being shown is Little Nicolas. The feature follows the life of Nicolau (Maxime Godart), who leads a quiet life like any child his age. One day he is surprised by a conversation between his parents, which leads him to believe that his mother is pregnant. Nicolau panics because he believes that once the baby is born he will receive no attention and will be abandoned in the forest, creating several confusions to save himself.
