Empório DB Ponta Negra opens as a Group concept store

Located in an area of large residential condominiums and with major developments to be inaugurated, Empório DB Ponta Negra is the 33rd unit of the chain, the third with 24-hour operation in the city

A new shopping concept, allied to a great mix of differentiated and special products, with an innovative service approach and a space with a layout with an exclusive layout in Manaus. These are some of the trends adopted in the concept store that the DB Group inaugurates, next Monday morning (24th), at Estrada da Ponta Negra, in the western part of the city.

Located in an area of large residential condominiums and with big enterprises to be inaugurated, Empório DB Ponta Negra is the 33rd unit of the chain, the 28th in Manaus, the third with 24 hours operation in the city and the second with the label "Empório" label.

Idealized by the company's CEO, Sidney Pedrosa, the newest and most modern shopping space in the capital, has 4.3 thousand square meters of area (of which 1.5 thousand of sales), 100 parking spaces, besides several services for its customers such as ATMs, wine cellar, conveyor belts, security system and self-service checkouts.

"The Empório DB Ponta Negra is the essence of the DB Group, with a new standard of quality, products and service in Manaus and in the North region. A unique experience, without ever leaving aside the pillars that guide our activities: fair prices, innovation, infrastructure and customer satisfaction," said Pedrosa.

Besides a special program for the inauguration, with promotions and several attractions, the new store will also receive a series of exclusive actions and activities in the coming months.

Economy

Located on Coronel Teixeira Avenue (Ponta Negra Road), near a school and several residential condominiums, Empório DB Ponta Negra is the first of the new stores to be inaugurated in 2020 by the company.

The unit had construction work started in October 2019, and has generated about a thousand direct and indirect jobs since the beginning.

According to DB's CEO, Sidney Pedrosa, along with the second new unit scheduled to open in the first half of this year - in the Adrianópolis neighborhood -, the company projects the addition of 100 new direct jobs to its staff.

The jobs offered are directed to all sectors that involve the operation of the new units, from cash operators, to customer service, maintenance, and product and stock repositories, to name a few.

Also according to Pedrosa, after the selection, the new hires will go through a series of training sessions promoted by the company to work in the sectors where they will be allocated.
