Entrepreneurship and gastronomy are themes of lecture in Tourism Workshop

The tourism potentials in Manaus' urban areas will also be under debate during the 10th edition of the event.

The 10th edition of the Tourism Workshoppromoted by Manaus Prefecture, will bring in its program the lecture "Entrepreneurship and Gastronomygiven by Ícaro Costa. The meeting, under the coordination of the Municipal Foundation of Culture, Tourism and Events (Manauscult), will be next Thursday, May 24, at Les Artistes Café TeatroCenter. Registration is free and participants will receive a certificate.

Ícaro Costa, who currently works with homemade pepper sauces, says that, during his presentation, he will give tips on how to undertake with regional products.

"I will focus on the gastronomy area, having in mind the richness of products that our region has in its culinary. I bring in my baggage the experience of great chefs with whom I had the opportunity to work in their kitchens and, besides this, I intend to contribute as an entrepreneur", shared Ícaro Costa.

The Workshop's program also includes the lectures "Tourism in Urban Areaswith professor Selma Batista, e "Ethno-Tourism and Public Policies of the State", with professor Selma Batistawith Amilton Gadelha. To close the program, at 3:30 pm, there will be a round table.

Registration is open and can be made by sending your full name, institution, and phone number to the e-mail manauscult.inscriçã[email protected]. They can also be made on the day of the event. The limit is up to 100 participants. At the end of the meeting, certificates with the workload will be handed out.

Workshop

The Tourism Workshops bring together students, teachers, specialists, professionals from the tourism trade, tourism agents and activities related to the area, and the general public. The last meeting took place in March this year, with the theme "Digital Platforms and Tourism".
