It is on air "2 Death is a Joke 2", a show of humor, spirituality and reflection that brings to the stage of the Manauara Theater on 04/08 (Saturday) in 2 single sessions 18 and 20 pm, the actor Renato PrietoPrieto, protagonist of "Nosso Lar - O Filme", and the special participations of the actors Rogério Farias e Victor Meirelles.
The show approaches the theme of death with humor and lightness mixing texts, music, and images. "Many people don't like to talk about death, but it affects all of us sooner or later, so why not deal with this theme with serenity and humor?
If we are all here in transit, "death" is a joke! The play brings stories of a ubiquitous and universal theme. The backbone of the show approaches the theme in a peculiar and humorous way, leading the audience to moments of understanding and demystification of the subject, with funny scenes or not, without losing its function of entertainment with quality theater and showing the audience the need to value life.
The show "2 Death is a Joke 2" offers a captivating text with a theatrical language that is clear and at the same time funny and accessible to any audience, giving the opportunity to reflect and teach about a universal theme that raises disturbing questions. The creative process of the show is structured on ideas that man has about death, that regardless of philosophical or religious choice, believes that life goes on, therefore, "death" is a joke and everyone will have to go through it.
Project
The play "Death Is A Joke 2" is part of the art project that has taken more than six million people to the theater in the course of a success that reaches three decades. With approximately 30 years and 15 shows already produced, the Project is named after its creator, actor and director Renato Prieto, and its purpose is to spread the spiritist doctrine on a large scale inside and outside spiritist circles, always presenting quality theater.
So far the Renato Prieto Project has been in three countries, 29 states, and more than 400 cities. With its art and box office, the Project has already contributed to more than 2,200 social and charitable institutions. The Renato Prieto Project is the first to take a Brazilian theater spectacle in Portuguese language to Broadway in the United States.
