With DJs, graffiti, beat box, popping, brass and urban art, the show "hip hop is the place promises to shake the Amazonas Theateron Tuesday (04/03). The project, which has free admission, has the support of the State Secretariat of Culture (SEC), through the Open Space Program.
The program will begin at 5pm, outside the Teatro Amazonas, where the artist Deborah Erê will make a graffiti panel. According to one of the event's organizers, Maykon Andrade, the panel will be used as a backdrop for the show, which is scheduled to start at 8pm. "People will be able to see how graffiti is produced live. The panel will be painted outside and then taken to the stage, where it will be used as a backdrop.
Elements such as music, dance, graffiti, and rhyme battles - considered the basis of hip hop - will be presented in the show. Maykon also says that the objective of the presentation is to show the daily life of urban art. "The presentation will bring experiences of daily life of each element and also intends to tell how the communities of Manaus produce art and culture, "he says.
Composing the soundtrack of the event are the DJs Carapanã and Marcos Tubarão, and the Manauaras em Extinção Band. The break rhythm will be on account of the Nativos Crew group, besides the participation of musician Andrei Ambrósio on the metals.

In order to promote a greater interaction with the audience, the public that will watch the presentation will be able to suggest themes that will be used by rhymers on stage. For this, a suggestion box will be left at the entrance of the event.
Non-perishable food will also be accepted by the group at the entrance of the event. The proceeds will be donated to the Casa Mamãe Margarida institute, which assists women in situations of vulnerability and social risk.
