Between July 4 and August 3, Shopping Ponta Negra customers will have the opportunity to get to know a little more about India up close without having to travel thousands of miles to get to the country. Located in the events plaza of the shopping center, on the second floor (L1), the "ExpoÍndia - A Look at India promises to delight the public with exclusive and typical items of Indian fashion, culture and decoration.
The exhibition will be available during the entire opening hours of the shopping center and is an invitation to the Amazonians to an Indian cultural immersion.
The pieces on display range from handcrafted wooden furniture designed and made with a wealth of details, such as tables, chests, and swings, as well as household utensils, "magic lanterns", and even the classic Indian carpets, popularized through tales inspired by oriental culture.
It will also be possible for the public to find decorative ornaments such as miniature animals and classic figures from Hindu and Buddhist culture. Another highlight of ExpoÍndia are the clothes, such as blouses, skirts and dresses made with fabrics, prints and models typical of the region, as well as accessories such as rings, earrings and necklaces.
