The selection gathers part of the collection produced by the Minas Gerais photographer mainly between the 1980s and 1990s, when Salgado followed the rural workers' struggle.
The curator of the exhibition is Bulgarian photographer Roumen Koynov. According to him, the images gathered in "Landless Movement" are an example of Sebastião Salgado's talent in capturing textures, compositions and unique contents in B&W photos.

The work, which Salgado began upon his return to Brazil after exile during the military regime, reveals "the unquestionable talent of one of today's greatest photographers," the curator highlights.
