FAS Fair returns with options for entertainment and professionalization

Promoted by the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS), the 4th edition of the fair will take place until 8 pm on Sunday (19) and will promote leisure options, gastronomy and musical attractions. Admission is free.

The fourth edition of the FAS Fair happens this Sunday (19) at the headquarters of the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS) in Manaus. With spaces aimed at the creative economy, leisure, gastronomy, etc, the event will also feature the presentation of bands and artists manauaras, starting from 8 am, at Rua Alvaro Braga, 351, Parque 10 de Novembro.

Since the first edition, there have been more than 100 exhibitors bringing varieties, such as clothes, accessories, handicrafts, among others, and also taking part in the fair's gastronomic space. One of the spaces promoted in all FAS' fairs is the Cultural one, which encourages the interaction of the Fair participants with music, arts, theater, among others. In this edition, attractions such as NTG Band, Alderia, Kblocos, Junior Lagos, among others, are confirmed.

"The idea of the Cultural Space is to be a meeting place for different groups with musical and artistic attractions without leaving aside the educational appeal, educational, instructive on urban socio-environmental issues," explains the coordinator of the Sustainable Cities Agenda of FAS, Paula Gabriel.

Among the confirmed varieties are the sale of nun's vegetables, plant sales, electronic games, they will be able to try several types of food with the gastronomy exhibitors, in addition to wellness-oriented services, such as massage therapy and facial massage. The fair will also have a space dedicated to children's leisure and education, with reading and drawing activities.

The FAS Fair is a place where the creative economy, education aimed at sustainable development and the appreciation of regional culture is present every third Sunday of the month with sustainability, gastronomy and entertainment. Exhibitors will bring varieties, such as clothing, accessories, crafts, among others, and will also be part of the gastronomic space on site.

The event is free and is part of FAS' Sustainable Cities Agenda, which seeks to develop projects focused on the concepts of city improvement and urban sustainability, from social mobilization and engagement, as the Virada Sustentável Manaus, Reusa, Donate Day, Sustainable Chat and Vire Manaus Award. The event is held in partnership with the cultural producer Jander Manauara and Sustental Projeto.

Professionalization at the FAS Fair

One of the highlights of all the editions since the opening of the FAS Fair is the Citizenship Space, which offers free services to the population, ranging from training for personal and professional conduct in job interviews, resume preparation, etc. On Sunday (19), during the fair programming, participants can take part in a workshop on improvements and techniques of public speaking, from 10h.

The public speaking course has been developed for 10 years by the coach, a specialist in communication, public speaking and storytelling, Lidiane Assante, a professor of higher education at a university in Manaus. The proposal is to provide future job applicants with techniques on how to behave during interviews and public situations that require speech, as well as advice on how to behave in personal and professional daily life, known as Personal Branding.

"Due to the current job crisis throughout the country and the specific unemployment scenario of the manauara citizen, the Citizenship Space is a democratic way to offer relevant topics and deliver free services that contribute to the development of the entire population," says Paula Gabriel.
