That the cuisine and music from Pará are a success in the Northern region, of that nobody has any doubt. That is why a new edition of the Festival Paraense is already confirmed for March 3 and 4 of this year. Festival Paraensea thematic event that presents to the residents of Manaus, lovers or regionalized Para in Amazonas, the best of the culture of the neighboring state, Pará.
Held in the podium space of the Arena da Amazônia, on Constantino Nery Avenue, the festival will feature heavyweight musical attractions from Pará: Wanderley Andrade, Pinduca, Pintacuia, DJ Digisound e Amazon Beachwho will perform at the Ver-o-Peso Stage, in honor of Belém's traditional market. Tickets, sold at the Arena da Amazônia box office on the days of the event, will cost the symbolic price of R$ 5 and the money raised will be donated to the Abrigo Pró-Menor Dom Bosco.
There will be 32 tents with regional delicacies from Pará, plus foodtrucks and candy foodbikes. Among the confirmed dishes are maniçoba, tacacá, açaí, paraense rice, shrimp farofa, duck in tucupi, and others. In addition, the food presented by the chefs of each stand will also be tasted by a committee of journalists and digital influencers, who will choose the best of the festival during the two-day event. The criteria evaluated will be harmony, presentation, flavor and aroma.
Fair, Bacuri and Cerpa Bar
In addition, the festival will have the Mode On space, a business fair with more than 30 craft stands and stores with various products, including sandals, handbags, clothes, jewelry, paintings, and decorative items at affordable prices. At the Bacuri Space, children and adults can have fun with inflatable toys, jumping jacks, mechanical bull, target shooting, fishing, and a ball pool. The Cerpa Bar will provide Para beer lovers with a tasting of flavors.
