The article - with ten pages about the Parintins Folkloric Festival (considered a Brazilian Cultural Heritage) - is in the December issue of the magazine and is part of one of the actions of the Amazonas State Tourism Company (Amazonastur) to attract more international tourists to the state.
According to the president of Amazonastur, Roselene Medeiros, the publication is part of the actions developed by the Marketing Department of the public company to increase the international tourist flow, especially by releasing the Brazilian visa for American visitors. For the first time, the magazine publishes informative material about the tourist-cultural attraction.
"Amazonastur took to Parintins, in 2019, a group of international operators and directors of American Airlines, where they could feel and experience the Parintins Festival," commented Roselene.
According to Roselene Medeiros, besides the article in the in-flight magazine, Amazonas is also highlighted with a promotional video exalting our natural, gastronomic, cultural and architectural riches.
"The passenger will see the commercials that Amazonastur articulated inside the American Airlines aircrafts. Our goal is to maintain this market, where the American is the international tourist that most visits our state, and also to increase the flow of tourists in our Amazonas", he said.
