Manaus Ágil tourism and culture of the Amazon
The performances take place in various areas of Manaus from July 28 to October 27.
Lovers of performing arts, cultural and circus arts and the general public can follow, from July 28 to October 27, the presentations of the project "Roda in the Square - Roda Manaus in several areas of the city. The project promises to move the squares of the city with much animation and joy, with 12 free presentations.
The project aims to promote the public art of Manauara, through the union of several artists, such as clowns, actors, dancers, musicians and performersin presentations in public squares in the capital. The shows start next Saturday, July 28th, starting at 6pm, at the Praça da Juventude, located on Autaz Mirim Avenue, in São José neighborhood.
The clown and creator of the project, Ana Oliveira, talks about the birth of the "Roda na Praça - Roda Manaus": "This project arose in the resistance to cultivate the street theater, this passing of the hat as appreciation of art, the artist's work. We also want to bring back the public to the squares, bring the circus closer to the people, and we also observed that when the artists are in constant exercise and being valued, they seek to specialize in their techniques", she said.
The project schedule consists of 12 presentations of the show "Wheel in the Square", lasting approximately, 50 minutes each. The six zones of the capital will receive the presentations, passing through neighborhoods like Morro da Liberdade, São Francisco, São Jorge, Santa Etelvina, Cidade Nova, among others.
"The 'Roda na Praça - Roda Manaus' brought us more opportunities to reach more places and people. With it, we will be able to reach further, and we will go to all areas of the capital, including rural and riverside areas, an audience we want to conquer and take art in the form of joy", Ana pointed out.
