Navy opens 960 vacancies for the Marine Soldiers Training Course

Applications will be open until March 28 and can be made through the website or in person at the addresses listed in the notice.

A Brazilian Navythrough the Marine Corps Personnel Command, begins, on February 27, 2019, the application process for the Admissions Contest for classes I and II of 2020 of the Marine Soldiers Training Course. Registration for the 960 places will be open until March 28 and can be done through the site or in person, at the addresses listed in the announcement.

Among the main requirements for registration are: being a Brazilian male, aged at least 18 and at most 21 on January 1st, 2020, and having completed high school.

At the time of registration, the candidate can choose to apply for vacancies in the following places to serve initially: Marine Units in Rio de Janeiro - RJ, Marine Units in Brasilia - DF, Marine Corps Grouping in Rio Grande - RS, 1st Battalion of Riverine Operations in Manaus - AM, 2nd Battalion of Riverine Operations in Belem - PA, Grupamento de Fuzileiros Navais de Ladário - MS, Grupamento de Fuzileiros Navais de Natal - RN, Grupamento de Fuzileiros Navais de Salvador - BA, and Batalhão de Defesa NBQR de Aramar - SP (the distribution of vacancies will occur according to the needs of the Naval Administration).

The training course will last 17 weeks and will take place in Marine Corps training centers in Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia, in a boarding school regime and with exclusive dedication until graduation day.

The first stage of the selection process consists of a schooling exam, with tests in Portuguese and Mathematics, to be held on May 28, 2019. Those approved in the initial stage will also undergo biographical data and document verification, psychological testing, health inspection, and a physical sufficiency test.

During the course, in addition to being provided with food, uniform, and medical and dental assistance, the Recruited Marine will receive remuneration in line with their rank, as an allowance for their personal expenses.
