Amazonian Museum

The Amazonian Museum is a supplementary public body of the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam), and acts in support of research, teaching and extension in areas fundamental to the knowledge of the Amazon and its cultures. It was created in 1975, implemented in 1989, and inaugurated in 1991. It has a documentary, ethnographic, and archaeological collection.
