Manaus Ágil tourism and culture of the AmazonThe celebration will have as a stage, besides the Paço da Liberdade, its surroundings that encompasses the Dom Pedro II Square, the Rio Branco Palace and Bernardo Ramos Street.
The Christmas spirit will take over the Paço da Liberdadein the Historical Center of Manaus, on 15, 16 and 17 December, with the "Christmas in the Palace - 2nd Choir Festival of Amazonas. The festival, sponsored by the Municipal Foundation for Culture, Tourism and Events (Manauscult), integrates the Christmas program of the Manaus City Hall that this year brings the theme "Embrace Christmas".
The celebration will be held, in addition to the Palace of Liberty, its surroundings which includes the Dom Pedro II Square, o Rio Branco Palace and the street Bernardo Ramos Street. On the premises of the Palace, a Christmas tree will be assembled and decorated by visitors. On Bernardo Ramos street there will be presentations of street theater with Christmas themes.
During the three days there will be presentations by twenty choirs. On day 15/12, the "Christmas in the Palace" starts at 19h with the choir of the Amazonas State University (UEA), performing a theatrical presentation on the facade of the Palácio Rio Branco, then, They present the choirs Musicando, Children's Paths of Friar, the City Council of Manaus (CMM), Voices of Jubilation, Tabernacle Baptist, Musikart and Voices of Education, ending at 21h.
On 12/16, the choirs' presentation starts at 6:15pm, with the Dom Jackson Damasceno School, from Amazonas, ICBEU, Adventus, Adventista Harmonia, Adventista de Manaus and Cosmos, until 8:30pm.
On Sunday, December 17, the attractions begin earlier, at 5:30 pm, with the Magical Christmas Hug - Christmas Show with characters from the City of Children Park. The public will also be able to enjoy the choirs: Children's choirs Caminhos do Frei, Ativa Uma Igreja Batista, Grupo Vivamus and, ending the night, at 8:20 pm, there will be a Christmas Parade with a fanfare show.
Bernardo Ramos
On the traditional Bernardo Ramos street, the Solidarity Christmas Fair will also be set up, involving ten philanthropic entities, in addition to a food court, with food trucks and food bikes, on the three days of the event.
Natal do Paço also involves the Manaus Solidarity Fund (FMS), Municipal Department of Women, Social Assistance and Human Rights (Semmasdh), Municipal Undersecretary of the Historic Center (Subsemch), Municipal Department of Urban Cleaning (Semulsp), City of Children Park, Municipal Institute of Engineering and Traffic Supervision (Manaustrans), besides support such as Eletrobrás Amazonas Energia, Amazonas Military Police, Manaus Choirs, Association of Bars and Restaurants (Abrasel-Am), Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies (Abav-Am), Brazilian Association of the Hotel Industry (Abih-Am), Skal Club Manaus.
