The meeting aims to stimulate children's imagination through plays.

The show Saint George and the Dragon kicks off the Season of Theatre for Children of City of Children Children's ParkAleixo, south-central zone. The presentations, sponsored by the Manaus City Hall, will start this Saturday, 14/7, from 17h, and continue until the day 1/8, with free admission.

The gang at Parque da Criança has created an adaptation of the story 'Saint George and the Dragon' full of games and emotions that will attract the children's attention. The cast includes seven people, including actors and musicians. The Children's Theater Season is coordinated by the Municipal Secretariat of Youth, Sports, and Leisure (Semjel).

According to the park coordinator and responsible for the text and theatrical direction, Socorro Andrade, the show seeks to stimulate children's imagination and strengthen culture through theater.

"We believe that the show has the power to take and involve children in the enchanted world of 'Saint George and the Dragon'. We created an adaptation with a touch of comedy, where the character tries to save a princess from the hands of a dragon and his entire kingdom. It is worth checking out, it is a program for the whole family", he said.
