Since it arrived at Shopping Ponta Negra, a LEGO House has been a great success among the frequenters of the shopping center. The toy, which is famous for having influenced the creativity of generations, challenging the power of imagination, putting pieces together and forming a whole world of possibilities, has caused euphoria among the little ones and, especially, nostalgia among the "big guys" who played with the pieces in their childhood.

"LEGO is a game that brings countless benefits to children, young people, and adults, expanding the imaginative capacity, stimulating creativity, helping to solve problems, and increasing concentration and metaphorical thinking, which is quite scarce in adults. Hence the saying: creative adult is the child who survived", said Durval Braga Neto, specialist in 'Lego Serious Play', a methodology developed by Lego that provides self-knowledge through ludic tools.

Neto points out that the biggest challenge for parents today is to keep children and young people focused amidst so much distraction, mainly due to electronic devices. In this scenario, LEGO continues to attract children, young people, and adults alike, who can "bring out" all their imagination by building three-dimensional scenarios, characters, and stories, bringing from the most unconscious levels to the conscious, everything that deep down they would like to do and be.

"I believe that excessive technology ends up provoking the need to rescue the ludic and the simple. A proof of this is that we are reviving vinyl LPs and other icons of vintage culture," pointed out the expert, who suggests parents to sit with children, make them create imaginary stories, use and abuse of metaphors.

"This stimulates creativity, makes children break with the factual and walk through the symbolic. Make a notepad, an airplane, a car something that can become something else. In the future, we will have more creative adults, safer and able to deal with the complexity and challenges of the modern world," said Durval Braga Neto.

And who has not yet been to know the LEGO House has until the 30th to visit the Shopping Ponta Negra and have fun in the attraction, which is new in town and is located in the square of events on the second floor (L1) of the mall, with a program aimed at children aged 18 months to 12 years.

For kids up to three years old, the fun happens in the Kids Space, which follows the concept of a pool of balls where they can build their Lego constructions right there, because they will find on the sides of the pool bases to assemble the pieces. There is capacity for four participants simultaneously, who must be accompanied by their guardians.

Children from the age of four and up can choose between three different games. In the Central Park Space, they will be seated at tables and encouraged to build pieces for the garden, while the Mini Zoo will bring to life the zoo's most admired animals such as giraffes, monkeys, birds or zebras. Valuing creativity, after the construction, the pieces will be exhibited inside the space.

For those who love to overcome their limits, the Challenge Space offers monitors to guide children to work as a team in building bridges, towers, and matching objects. The group that builds the strongest bridge, the tallest tower or the most objects of the same color wins.

"In addition to the games in these spaces, the corridors of the mall display five incredible LEGO sculptures for visitors who want to take pictures and keep a souvenir of the attraction," said marketing manager of Shopping Ponta Negra, Karla Henderson.
