Each candidate can only enroll in one course.
The Manaus City Hall, through the Municipal Secretariat of Labor, Employment and Development (Semtrad), released on Tuesday, 23/1, the list of free courses that will be offered during the first half of this year. They are 497 vacancies for 29 professional qualification courses. Registration is open until January 25, through Semtrad's website http://semtrad.manaus.am.gov.br/.
There are 46 classes divided among 29 courses that range from Customer Service and Interpersonal Relations to more practical issues such as Administrative Routines, Cash Operator, and Concierge, among others. The courses are being offered through a partnership with consultants Vania Blois, Cebrac, Intelectus, and Projeto Formando Cidadãos (PFC).
Semtrad's secretary, Ananda Carvalho, highlights the importance of qualification, especially for those who are looking for a job opening. "We have assisted in the selection process of several companies and we have seen that the Human Resources departments are increasingly more careful in relation to the preparation of the worker. For this reason, following the determination of Mayor Arthur Neto, we started the year offering job openings, but also qualification courses," says Ananda.
Semtrad's Director of Qualification, Fábio Castro, said he works together with Sine Manaus, seeking to combine the needs of workers with the offer of courses from partners so that the vacancies are always free. "The 29 courses we are now offering are directed towards commerce and industry and involve the main deficiencies pointed out by the companies, such as customer service, interpersonal relationships, and other specific functions, such as concierge professionals or those with mastery in Building Electric installation, among others," explains Castro.
The courses will be offered in three shifts, but it is important to access Semtrad's website and check the courses, shifts, course load, and age group required. Each candidate can only enroll in one course. The list of selected students will be published on January 26, on Semtrad's website.
