The program will feature musical performances, such as that of the Amazonas Philharmonic Band, school fanfares, maracatus groups of baque virado, choir and ballet of the Universal Youth Force (FJU), Friends of Bilhares basketball festival and adoption fair and dog parade of the Angel's Gate Association Manaus.
The staging of the Christmas auto entitled The Magical Christmas of Embracing will open, on 12/15, at 6pm, the program of the II Solidary Christmas of the Municipal Park Ponte dos Bilhares. Besides theater, music and dance, the party will also be marked by solidarity with the collection of new and / or used toys in good condition for distribution to children from poor communities of Manaus.
The event, organized by the Manaus City Hall, through the Manaus Solidarity Fund (FMS), presided by First Lady Elisabeth Valeiko, and the Municipal Environment and Sustainability Secretariat (Semmas), counts on several partners that will integrate the program. Donations can be made since Monday, 4, at the park's administration, from 8am to 5pm, and also on the days of the festive program, which ends on the 17th.
The gifts will be delivered to the children on the 22nd by Santa Claus. The party happens for the second consecutive year, with the reinforcement this year of the FMS, which has developed several activities to stimulate solidarity in the city and now, with the Christmas period, conducts the Hug Christmas campaign, including the programming of Christmas Solidarity Bilhares. "The goal of the program is to make people feel encouraged to participate in the campaign and make donations of toys, and come to the park with their families and have fun with the attractions," explains the Municipal Secretary of Environment and Sustainability, Antonio Nelson de Oliveira Junior.
Also according to the secretary, the program closes with a golden key the intense year of cultural activities that took to the park an increasing universe of people. "Following the guidance of Mayor Arthur Virgílio Neto, sporting, academic, artistic and cultural events have led the population to share with the Manaus City Hall important commemorative dates, such as Carnival, St. John's, Children's Day, Book Day, summer camp, city's anniversary, always in the park," says Antonio Nelson.
Program
The program starts on Friday, 15, with the presentation of the theatrical show "The Magical Hug Christmas", staged by the recreational class of the City of Children Park, at the Plaza do Bonde, from 18h. The play aims to rescue the spirit of fraternal Christmas and make people feel embraced, within the show that brings the symbols of Christmas. Next, there will be a presentation of the Fanfare from the Ernesto Pinho Filho State School, the Choir of Força Jovem Universal (FJU), from the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, and, finally, the Amazonas Philharmonic Band, at the amphitheater of the first stage of the park.
On the second day, Saturday the 16th, the program starts at 4pm, with the II Bilhares Friends Basketball Festival, bringing together teams that use the park's basketball courts. Next, the Fanfare of the Raimundo Holanda de Souza State School, at 6:30 pm, at the Praça da Fogueira, the Universal Youth Force Ballet (7 pm), at the Praça do Bonde, and at 7:30 pm, the Itinerant Maracatu Eco Sapopema. On Sunday, the last day of the program, the night will be opened by the Fanfare of the State School Senador Manuel Severiano Nunes, from Alvorada 2, followed by the FJU children's theater group, Maracatu Pedra Encantada (itinerant presentation), at 7:30pm, and the FJU dance group, at 8pm.
On all three days, there will be an Adoption Fair and Dog Parade, by the Manaus Angels' Portal Association (Apam), at the Bonde Square, from 5pm to 9pm.
The Military House - Metropolitan Guard, Municipal Foundation of Culture, Tourism, and Events (Manauscult), Municipal Secretariat of Youth, Sports, and Leisure (Semjel), Cooperative of Instructors of Bands and Fanfares of Amazonas (Cirfabam), Amazon Federation of Bands and Fanfares, Nilton Lins University, and the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (IURD) are partners in this initiative.
