"Roda com Elas" features a repertoire of classic sambas as well as new songs.

This Wednesday, August 21, the singers Cinara Nery, Fátima Silva, Lucilene Castro and Márcia Siqueira will present, for free, the show that launched the second album of the project "Elas Cantam Samba" projectentitled "Roda Com Elas". The show will take place from 7pm on Largo São Sebastiãoin the center of the city, through the project "Tacacá na Bossa" project.
Roda com Elas" brings a repertoire of classic sambas, as well as new songs. The singers will be on stage with great musicians from Amazonas: Aécio Bezerra (sax and flute), Francisbone (trombone), Claudio Nunes (seven-string guitar), Dudu Brasil (six-string guitar), Rogério (cavaco), Casqueta, Azamba, Gordinho, and Ticva share the percussion.
The CD and the show "Roda com Elas - Elas Cantam Samba" is a counterpart to the project awarded in the 2018 Cultural Connections Edital, promoted by the Manaus City Hall, with cultural support from the Amazonas government, through the State Secretariat of Culture (SEC) and is a realization of On Produção Cultural e Assessoria.
Participations
The show will have two special participations. The first one will be Claudia Trindade, who will sing the song "Canto das Três Raças", by Paulo Cesar Pinheiro and also recorded by Clara Nunes.
Cláudia began her career at the age of 12, joining the Youth Choir and then the Adult Choir of the Liceu de Artes Cláudio Santoro. Later she joined the Pagode.Com group.
In the second moment, singer James Rios will bring to the audience the songs "Clareou", composed by Rodrigo Leite and Serginho Meriti, and "Amor Sem Gosto", by carioca Herlon do Banjo.
James started singing at the age of 10 in his school's choir. Passionate about music, he stopped having it as a hobby and joined the dance bands, marking the beginning of his work.
