Event will feature an exhibition of works and personal objects of the Amazonian artist.
This Sunday (May 20), the Largo de São Sebastião Cultural Centerin Manaus Center, will receive, from 8am to 18h, another edition of the project "Live Painting in the Plazawhich will have a tribute to the artist, poet and writer from Amazonas, Moacir Andradeinternationally known for his works that portray the Amazon region and riverside life.
The project, which has been going on for three years, is an initiative of the Amazonas State Culture Association (Aceam) and aims to showcase the innovative talents of the region, offering opportunities for artists from the capital and the interior to present their work to the public.
The event's program is composed of free activities such as painting, graffiti, cartoons, poetry recitations, and also an exhibition of drawings, photographs, and sculptures. In this edition, there will also be a parade of clothes and accessories, whose design is signed by artist Rosa dos Anjos, and the prints by artists Otoni Mesquita, Ricolla Paiva, and Nelson Freire.
Rosa dos Anjos, who is also president of Aceam and organizer of the project, tells that the pieces from the parade will be for sale on site, and that also, on June 16, the models will be exhibited in an art salon in the cultural space Vaduzer Saal, in the Principality of Liechtenstein, during the V Junifest 2018 of Casa Brasil in Liechtenstein.

The artist Moacir Andrade is godfather of the project "Pintura Ao Vivo no Largo" and will be honored, this Sunday (05/20), with an exhibition of his works and personal objects, during the realization of the project.
