Manaós Quintet performs at the Palace of Justice on Thursday (12)

The group's repertoire is based on music for brass quintets.

Next Thursday, July 12th, the Sesc AM promotes the "Sesc Partituras Concertsin the Palácio da Justiça Cultural Center, a from 7 pm. With free admission, the show aims to disseminate the collection of Sesc's virtual music library, composed of digital scores and works transcribed through music editing programs. Access to the virtual environment is free.

The presentation of part of the Sesc Partituras collection will be by Quinteto Manaósa band from Amazonas formed in 2010 by students of the Music course of the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA). The group's repertoire is based on music for brass quintets.

The event "Sesc Partituras Concerts" will allow the public to have contact with the richness of Brazilian music, besides contributing to the formation of an audience and stimulating the development of artistic careers.

Sesc Partituras Concerts

Held since 2012, the concerts aim to disseminate the project's collection, through the performance, by artists from around the country, of musical works that appear on the website. The collection of the Sesc Partituras project includes music by Brazilian composers of various generations, with original works of historical interest, many of them previously belonging only to private collections, as well as works by contemporary composers, some of whom are still little known. Thus, the site functions as a diffuser of Brazilian musical production in its wide diversity, becoming an environment of convergence of the various segments linked to the music production chain.
