For the joy of Amazonians who are "good with forks", the Shopping Ponta Negra receives another edition of the gastronomic festival Chefs Routewith the theme Pub Food. The event takes place on February 7, 8 and 9, starting at 5pm, in the front parking lot of the shopping center. Access is free and the public can taste more than 40 options of dishes, which cost between R$ 5 and R$ 25.
The gastronomic festival will feature renowned chefs from the city, such as Ary Filho, Alex Itaqui, Babu Loureiro, Dedé Parente, Eduardo Backsmann and Mirco Borga, Isis Reichl, Marcello Hagge, Mauro Lúcio, Menga Rola, Milton Rola, Paulo Fortunato, Pio Câmara, and Xande Loureiro.
According to the chef responsible for the Chefs' Route project, Lídia Mota, the novelty of this edition is that there will be a stand selling glasses of wines and sparkling wines. The wine influencer Manuel Fernandes will be responsible for indicating to the public options that will harmonize with the dishes of the event.
Farofa de camarão; Bolinho de banana pacovan with dried beef and brie cheese; Brownie; Shrimp and squid rings breaded; Torresmo de pirarucu; Filet with fries; Brusquetta Navona (homemade bread, sugo, mozzarella, pepperoni and cherry tomato); Bolinho de pirarucu; Nail crab; Bean broth with homemade sausage; Smoked pork knuckle with seasoned fries; Roast beef sandwich (with arugula salad, tomato and onion vinaigrette); Pastel de carne de sol; Rabada with rice and pirão; Coxinha de jerimum with dried beef, catupiry and biquinho pepper; and Plated tongue blades, mushroom mix and cabbage and bacon farofa, are among the dishes on the menu.
The marketing coordinator of Shopping Ponta Negra, Priscila Furtado, points out that the Chefs' Route, edition Comida de Boteco, is an event for the whole family. "Besides the dishes prepared by the chefs, the program will include a kids' area and musical shows during the three-day event," says Priscila Furtado.
