Presentation, with free admission, is part of the activities to celebrate the centenary of the Amazon Academy of Letters and starts at 7pm.
Next Wednesday (15), at 19h, the Academy of Letters will hold a soirée in honor of the distinguished academic Jorge Tuficwho died in February of this year.
The presentation, which is part of the activities to celebrate A.A.L.'s centennial, will have free admission and will feature lyric singers Humberto Vieira, Josenor Rocha, and Raquel de Queiroz, as well as actors Dori Carvalho, Mauri Mqr, and Koia Refkalesfsky. Almir Diniz, for the Academy, and Elaine Alaúzo, representing the family, will also participate.
For the president of the Academy, biennium 2018-2019, Robério Braga, the activity is an opportunity to honor once again the illustrious academic.
"Tufic was an immortal, with all the requirements for immortality. He was a writer, poet, journalist; he gave us the lyrics to our beautiful state anthem and deserves all the tributes we can offer", he commented.
Jorge Tufic Alaúzo was born in Acre in 1930. Author of books such as "Chão sem mácula" and "Retrato de Mãe", the writer was one of the founders of the Clube da Madrugada, author of the State Anthem of Amazonas and immortal, since 1969, of chair number 18, whose patron is the poet Jonas da Silva.
