The Christmas attraction of the programming of Shopping Ponta Negra this Friday (20), at 7pm, will be Orquestrinha e Choir of the Amazonas State University (UEA). It will be about 1h of presentation with the most traditional Christmas songs that will delight the public in the events square of the mall, located on the second floor (L1).
According to the conductor of the choir of UEA, Fabiano Cardoso, "So it's Christmas" and "Silent Night" are part of the repertoire. "First the choir will perform and then the little orchestra, but there will be times when they will perform together," he says.
In addition, on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, starting at 6pm, there will be a Christmas parade at the mall. The good old man, characters, and a band will parade through the corridors of the Ponta Negra to cheer up the visitors.
Toy Factory
Santa Claus, fun at the Toy Factory and the Solidarity Christmas campaign are also among the attractions of the mall for the season. Santa Claus can be found in the Toy Factory, which is located in the event square. Until December 18, he will be there from 2pm to 9pm. The opening hours, when children want to have their picture taken with him, will be changed for the period from December 19 to 23, from 2 pm to 11 pm.
Playing circuits with big toys, revolving tubs, toboggan, seesaw, sensory panel and accessible toys on springs, the latter with easy access for wheelchair users, are the novelties that are mainly waiting for the children.
Besides checking out the mall's internal and external decoration, the public can also participate in the Christmas Solidarity Campaign, donating new and used toys that will be given to a social institution. The presents can be deposited in a 3D toy box that will be available on the L2 floor.
A program of entertainment activities is also part of the Ponta Negra Christmas. Always on Saturdays and Sundays, until December 22, there will be workshops of artistic production, ideal for those who want to learn a manual activity of the season, and storytelling. During this period, at 4pm and 6pm, felt doll workshops will be held. At 4:30pm and 6:30pm, it will be the turn of the Christmas ornament production workshop. Children will have special moments, with storytelling sessions at 5pm and 7pm.
