Shopping promotes pet adoption event, this Saturday (29)

This Saturday (2/29), in partnership with the Joana D'arc Protetores volunteer teams, the shopping center will hold an animal adoption event, from 2pm to 6pm

The Pet Park of Amazonas Shopping holds, on this Saturday (29/2) and on March 07 and 14, in partnership with volunteers, a series of activities, including animal adoption event and awareness actions about responsible guardianship.

The Pet Park Amazonas Shopping was recently opened and has over 400 square meters. The site has agility circuit with obstacles, ramps, tunnels, ladders and sticks, and instragram scenarios, drinking fountain and living space, all decorated with the pet theme. The shopping center's Marketing Manager, André Santi, explains that, besides being a leisure space, the Pet Park is prepared to hold adoption events, awareness activities and breed meetings.

This Saturday (29th), in partnership with the Joana D'arc Protetores volunteer teams, the shopping center will hold an animal adoption event, from 2pm to 6pm. On March 7th, starting at 4pm, volunteers from the NGOs Espaço Pet and Celeiro dos Anjos will be holding a series of activities at the Pet Park. In addition to making animals available for adoption, veterinarians from the Pet Way Clinic will be on site to guide guardians about castration and vaccination, performing screening and offering deworming.

On March 14 there will also be an adoption event at the Pet Park. All people interested in adopting will be interviewed to evaluate if they have the structural and psychological conditions for responsible ownership. The animals available for adoption are castrated, vaccinated, and wormed. To adopt, it is necessary to be over 18 years old and be carrying identification and proof of residence.
