The band from Amazonas Tudo Pelos Areswinner of the selection of Pop Rock Manaus, will perform on the stage Rock District stage, of Rock in Rio 2017on September 21. On that day, perform on the same stage Rodrigo Santos, bass player of Barão Vermelho, and Rock Street Band, Rock in Rio's resident band, whose producer, Mauro Berman, was one of the judges responsible for choosing the band Tudo Pelo Ares, in Manaus.
"Manauscult, exercising its role of promoting and fostering strategies in Culture, seeks effective developments and ramifications of this partnership that started last year, during Amazonia Live, with the launch of Rock in Rio's sustainability project, with tenor Plácido Domingo and singer Ivete Sangalo performing in the middle of the Rio Negro. Thanks to the articulation of Mayor Arthur Virgilio Neto, we will take some of our authorial production for one of the world's largest music festivals, with national and international projection of our cultural assets, and we will also activate the promotion of the city as a tourist attraction ", said the CEO of Manauscult, Bernardo Monteiro de Paula.
Artists such as Dinho Ouro Preto, Rogério Flausino, Wilson Sideral, Evandro Mesquita and George Israel will also climb the stage of Rock Distict during the seven days of programming. With a 20-year career, the band Tudo Pelos Ares will perform in one of the biggest music festivals in the world, after competing with 18 groups in Manaus. Tudo Pelo Ares, which has already participated in the opening of other festivals, brings a Brazilian authorial rock with influences from the classic rock of the 70s.
The current line-up is Eduardo Molotievscki (vocals and guitar), Marcelo Lima (vocals and bass), Marcelo Neves (vocals and guitar), and Rubem Junior (vocals and drums).
Selective
Promoted by the Municipal Foundation of Culture, Tourism and Events (Manauscult), the selection Pop Rock Manaus had the participation of 18 bands that performed in three nights of competitions in two concert halls in Manaus.
The selection took to the final a representative of each night of presentations. The band Essence was chosen on the first night; the band Redphone was chosen on the second night of presentations; and the band Tudo Pelos Ares was chosen on the last day of selective. The group was selected by the jury to represent the authorial production of Amazonas in a final that had as one of the jurors the icon of National Rock, the former Titan Paulo Miklos.
