The Installation Theater, created by the State Government, was inaugurated on May 6, 2001, with the Three Penny Opera, by Weill and Brecht, during the V Opera Festival. It is installed in the old "CASA HAVANEZA", a significant Belle Époque building, which had its surroundings completely restored with the reconstruction and revitalization of Manaus' old center. It is part of the organizational structure of the State Secretary of Culture (SEC) and is administratively subordinated to the director of the Teatro Amazonas.
The activities developed at the venue are: adult theater performances, dance performances, musical shows, studies, stage rehearsals, dance rehearsals, and filmmaking.

- Admin: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- Operation for rehearsals and extra activities: Monday to Friday - 8am to 9pm.
- Daily rehearsals, studies and functional activities of the Companhia de Dança do Amazonas (CDA): Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3pm.
- Amazonas Jazz Band: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 7pm to 9pm.
- Performance times: Saturday, from 7pm to 8pm.

- Movie screenings take place Thursday and Friday evenings at 7:00 pm.
- Eating is not permitted in the audience and mezzanine area, only in the Havanesa Café area.
- It is not permitted, to scratch, tear or put your feet on the armchairs and walls in the building's seating areas.
