About the children's violin course
The Special Violin course was created in 2007 by teacher Margarita Chterevan. In 2012, through a public selection, it began to be led by professor and violinist Núbia Barros and was renamed "Children's Violin". Since then, the course has been developing and showing more and more importance for the growth of the music scene and especially for the next generations of violinists in the state of Amazonas.
Intended for children between the ages of 5 and 7, the course lasts two years and is divided into three phases. After the last phase, the student goes to a recital to conclude the course and then goes on to graduate, which lasts nine years. The main goal of Violino Infantil is to offer a musical initiation in preparation for the training course and to develop the creative and motor side in a playful way, through methodical and thorough work.
