The 2018 season of the Ensaio dos Bumbás reaches the halfway point of the Parintins pre-festival calendar and consecrates the event with the lovers of bois-bumbás Caprichoso e Garantido. Every Saturday, the meeting, which began in March, has been gathering more and more public and showing that the proposed union of the movements Marujada (MM) and Friends of Garantido (MAG), in partnership with the Amazon Association of Toada Singers (AACT), and sponsorship of the Government of Amazonas, through the State Tourism Company (Amazonas), was right to rekindle the passion for boi-bumbá in the state capital.
This year, the parties are being held in a new venue, the Copacabana Choperiaand bring the format of two stages, one for the presentation of Caprichoso and the other for Garantido, which allows a better interaction with the public and doesn't let anyone stand still. In this period there were also two exclusive editions for each bull.
The Rehearsal gathers the blue and red nations in a party of joy and union where the important thing is the feeling of love for the culture and beauty of the Parintins Folkloric Festival.
Upcoming rehearsals
The calendar follows every Saturday from 18h until June 23, with a great warm-up party for the 2018 Parintins Folk Festival. The next editions will be with the two nations in a growing expectation for the days 29 and 30 June and July 1 when the festival takes place on Tupinambarana Island.
