Next Sunday, January 26th, at 5pm, the Academia Amazonense de Letraswill be the stage for another theatrical performance. A The Spatódea Trupe Company stages the play "The Man Who Marchesbased on an original text by academic Benjamin Limain a free presentation.
To compose the programming of the Immortals Theater Show, the Academia Amazonense de Letras, with the support of the Amazonas State Government, made public, for the knowledge of those interested, the receipt of proposals whose object consisted in the production and staging of the theatrical texts "O Homem que Marcha", by Benjamin Lima, and "A Feiticeira Maravilhosa", by Elson Farias.
Espatódea Trupe was responsible for Benjamin Lima's text, a farce in three acts performed by Henrique, Ramiro, and Conrado, the protagonists of a story in which the deceived husband devises a way to take revenge.
The play will be staged in naturalistic language, with a study of the method (Stanislavski). The adaptation will be made so as not to lose the author's essence, respecting the poetry present in his dramaturgy and exploring to the maximum each character and their characteristics.
For the president of the Academy, Robério Braga, the works are unpublished classics that deserve popular knowledge.
"They are texts produced by immortals that have never been theatrically adapted and will now be available to the public. This house is open for the arts, and theater is one that matches our hall, since this was originally the theater of the Benjamin Constant Institute, when it still belonged to the religious order. It is a historical rescue for the building, for the immortals, and for the public", he said.
