Programming continues until January 27, with puppet theater presentations, traditional games, activities to encourage reading and much more.
Located in the modern Avenida Manaus, downtown, the Usina Chaminé Cultural Center started on January 17, a special program, an alternative for parents who want something different for their children this vacation.
During the period, several activities will be held for the little ones, including traditional games, activities that encourage reading, puppet theater presentations, and also a "Recycling Workshop", where children will produce their own toys from recyclable objects. Visits and exhibitions are also part of the program.
The Cultural Center will be open from 9am to 2pm, always from Tuesday to Friday with a special program for children.
"Our program is designed for everyone. The important thing is to ensure that children, young people, parents or guardians enjoy the interaction that we provide here. It is worth mentioning that the parents' presence is very important for the experience to be complete for the little ones," said the center's manager, Salete Dutra.
What will be there?
On Wednesday (25th), at 10am, children will be able to play rope skipping and mime, traditional games from the childhood of many parents, as well as reading and painting workshops that will take place at 1pm.
The next day, Thursday (26th), the little ones will also participate in the second recycling workshop, where they will make toys from recyclable objects, learning to be conscious about the environment, and having fun at the same time. At 10am they will make masks out of egg shapes. The program on this day ends with the presentation of a movie in the project "Cine Expresso Popcorn".
And on Friday (27), the last day of the event, from 10am the children can have fun with a puppet show, which will bring the tome "The legend of Macunaíma". At 1pm, the vacation programming at the Usina Chaminé Cultural Center ends with Cine Expresso Popcorn, showing a surprise movie.
