A series of free activities related to hip-hop culture: this is what the project Hip-Hop Meeting in the North (EH2N), of the Network Panorando Artistic Productions, contemplated by the Manaus Prize for Cultural Connections 2018, of Manaus City Hall.
Dance battles, presentations, musical shows, workshops and conversation rounds are part of the program of the event, which will take place on February 29th and 1/3rd, at the Cultural Center Povos da Amazônia.
During the two days of the event, the activities will take place from 10am to 8pm, with daily registration starting at 9am. To take part in the activities, it is only necessary to arrive at the venue at least one hour beforehand, to get accredited and pick up your individual access wristband (passport).
According to the creator and general director of the event, Fábio Moura, the EH2N's main goal is to provide differentiated formative activities on a national level, so that, in the future, the city of Manaus is inserted in the route of the main urban culture events, not only in the North region, but in Brazil, as is the case of the guests Raquel Cabaneco (MG), BBOY Yude (DF) and Diego Josh (SP).
In total, there will be 30 hours of programming, occupying different environments of the Centro Cultural Povos da Amazônia, with dance workshops, graffiti and lambe-lambe, besides dance battles, rounds of talks and musical shows, all within the universe of hip-hop culture.
The project's actions are based on nine dance workshops, with the most different forms of urban dance, such as break and hip-hop dance battles. The program also includes a graffiti workshop with artist Deborah Erê, a lambe-lambe workshop with Soraya Nurieh (Snurieh), conversation rounds about the presence of women in hip-hop and also about the LGBT universe, a creative fair, gastronomy stands, and, ending the activities, on February 29th, at the Encontro das Águas stage, a musical show with singers Lary Go & Strela and live graffiti with Deborah Erê.
On 1/3, rapper Ian Lecter will be performing. He has just released the album "Cor da Alma" and the music video "Tipo Madruga", in partnership with singer-songwriter Karen Francis.
