The musical The Flowerswill be presented at the Amazonas TheaterSaturday (11) and Sunday (12), promises to thrill the public. With an hour and fifteen minutes long, the show tells the story of three generations of people connected by old affective ties and that start to reflect on the importance of love and forgiveness, in the construction of happiness.
The money raised from the sale of tickets to the show will be donated to the Chico Xavier Spiritist Group and the Fine Arts Association of Amazonas (Belarte). On Saturday (11), the show will be presented at 20h. Sunday (12) will be two sessions - at 16h and 19h.
According to the executive producer of the show, Silvio Romano, the story told in the musical should lead the audience to reflect on the effects that the wrong attitudes can generate in people's lives. The Flowers is composed of 13 songs, some of which were composed especially for the musical. A group of six singers, made up of Marcella BártholoGustav Cervinka, Daiane Costa, Marcel Batista, Werner Deimling, and Raquel Barbosa, will be responsible for interpreting the songs. Twenty dancers will also be part of the show.
Marcellawho currently lives in Rio de Janeiro and will come to Manaus to participate in the musical, will sing three songs, two of them solo: "O não da vida" and "Canção de amor e flor". The other song is "Atitude", with all the singers. "I am very happy to be able to return to my city for such a special work," he emphasized.
Silvio Romano points out that flowers, especially roses, will be present throughout the performance. "This is so that the most important of all flowers, the human soul, can be sensitized to beauty and goodness, so that it can perfume, with its presence, all environments where it is", he emphasized.
The musical is a local production, the result of a partnership of four friends with enormous experience in the artistic field. They are: Pedro Cavalcante, who signs the general direction; Carolina Soler, president of Belarte and responsible for the choreographies; Alec Carneiro, who does the musical direction; and Silvio Romano. Apolo Produções is a partner of the musical.

The Chico Xavier Spiritist Group works in the Monte das Oliveiras neighborhood. The institution develops work of material and spiritual support to the families that live in that region. The Belarte works at the João Braga Municipal School, in the Cidade Nova neighborhood. The Association was created in 2005, with the objective of educating young people through art and culture, especially dance.

Tickets for The Flowers are available at the box office of the Teatro Amazonas and on the website aloingressos. Plateia and friezes are R$ 50 full and R$ 25 half. On the 1st and 2nd floors the tickets cost R$ 30 full and R$ 15 half price. For the 3rd floor the value is R$ 20 full and R$ 10 half.
