Elderly
Free travel is for people over 60 years old and with a monthly income of two minimum wages or less. Each company reserves two seats on conventional buses. If these seats are full, the senior citizen can get a discount of at least fifty percent off the fare.
The interested party must request the ticket at the carrier's own points of sale at least three hours before departure. As proof of income, he can bring his Employment Record Card, pay stub, INSS contribution slip, or benefit payment statement.
People with Disabilities
People with physical, mental, visual or hearing disabilities and proven needy can travel free of charge. In these cases, the companies also reserve two seats in each vehicle of the conventional interstate passenger transport service.

Young people
Through ID Jovem, low-income young people between the ages of 15 and 29 are entitled to free travel on buses. The card must be presented at the ticket offices of the companies. The information for making the card can be found on the Caixa Econômica Federal.
The service providers must reserve, on regular lines, two free places and two places with a minimum discount of 50% in each vehicle or train of conventional interstate passenger transport service.
Children
Children up to six incomplete years of age, accompanied by a responsible adult, pay nothing, as long as they do not occupy a seat.
