The purchase of credit is among the main doubts of the population in this period.
In just over a month of operation of the Blue Zoneimplemented by the Manaus City Hall, approximately 12 thousand drivers have already made use of the system using the digital means (application and website), which allows the advance purchase of credit and facilitates parking in the Center.
According to the Operational Director of the Consortium that manages the Blue Zone, Guilherme Ruiz, the purchase of credit is among the main doubts of the population in this period. "Many people still don't understand how the purchase of credit works, and this makes it more difficult to use the service quickly. That's why we are encouraging people to download the application every day and buy credit in advance," said Guilherme.
Guilherme Ruiz explained that to use the rotary parking app, the first step is to download it from Google Play or Apple Storesearching for the name Blue Zone Manaus. The application will ask for personal information such as e-mail, password, CPF and vehicle license plate. Users who do not want to use the application may choose to register on the site www.zamanaus.com.br.
The purchase of credit in advance through digital platforms is a great advantage, because when parking in one of the Blue Zone spots the driver does not need to perform another procedure, since the monitor identifies the vehicle's license plate and automatically debits the fare. Another advantage is that the driver can charge another fare without having to go to the occupied spot, if it is parked for longer (up to the 3-hour limit).
Intelligent monitoring
The Blue Zone costs R$ 2.45 per hour, with a maximum stay of three hours in each space, and works from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, and on Saturdays, from 8am to 5pm. The system's intelligent monitoring identifies where the greatest number of occupied spaces is. Thus, monitors are sent to attend to the drivers.
Currently, the service is working with approximately 60 monitors, 90% of whom are ex-guardians of vehicles that worked at the Center and their families. The monitors are employees hired by the Consortium under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) regime.
